CORVALLIS, Ore. – San José State men’s golfer Avinash Iyer carded his second consecutive 2-under 69 on Tuesday, leading a trio of Spartan individuals through the second round of the 2026 NCAA Corvallis Regional at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

Iyer highlighted his steady afternoon with six birdies, moving into a tie for 14th place individually with a 4-under 138 total through 36 holes.

  • Keshav “KC” Mungali: T29 | 71-70 = 141 (-1) – Fired a 1-under 70 with four birdies.
  • Ivan Barahona: T43 | 72-72 = 144 (+2) – Turned in a second straight 72 with four birdies.

The low individual not on an advancing team from the Corvallis Regional will earn a spot in the NCAA Championship Finals. Heading into Wednesday’s final round, Liberty’s Michael Lugiano currently holds that advancing individual spot at 8-under 134.
