Interview Requests
Interview requests for Commissioner Gloria Nevarez and Deputy Commissioner Bret Gilliland and any of the MW officials’ coordinators must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For these requests, please contact Javan Hedlund (jhedlund@themw.com) or Phil Perry (pperry@TheMW.com). Additional media inquiries can be directed to any member of the Mountain West strategic communications staff.
MW News Distribution Service
Information regarding the Mountain West’s 19 sponsored sports will be emailed throughout the year to accredited media. To be added to a specific sports email distribution list, please contact the respective strategic communications sport contact listed above.
Access to MW Highlights and Sound
The Mountain West Network will provide select highlight footage and post-event sound to accredited media throughout the academic year. This service is intended for media outlets and MW institutional websites only. Any of this content should use a MWN courtesy, similar to what would be used for any other footage that your outlet did not produce originally. CollegePressBox.com is the official media website for Division I football. Access and download weekly game notes, quotes, statistics, media guides, headshots, logos and more for each conference and its member schools. Login information will be distributed to accredited media by contacting Phil Perry (pperry@TheMW.com). You can also apply for a password by sending an email to password@collegepressbox.com.
Credentials for MW Championships and Media Events
Media are invited to request credentials for Mountain West Championships and media events during the academic year. The Conference office will provide the latest information on these events via this page, including schedules and the MW’s online credential system (for media use only).

Statistics
The Mountain West will post updated statistics to the Conference website no later than the morning following every game of each of its team sports. HTML and PDF versions of cumulative statistics will be available.
Releases and Announcements
Player of the Week announcements and weekly press notes will also be made available for each of the sport seasons. You may obtain this information either on the Conference website or via email. For sport-specific details, please contact the communications staff member who handles the media relations responsibilities for that sport.
