TUCSON – The 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men’s Golf Championship will be played at Omni Tucson National Resort on the Catalina Course (par-72, 7,194 yards) beginning Sunday, May 3, to Tuesday, May 5.
All 12 Mountain West teams will participate in the 54-hole championship, which will see the squads play 18 holes each day, with tee times beginning at 7:00 a.m. PT each day.
Entering the championship, five MW programs are ranked in the top 100 nationally and just outside. New Mexico leads the way at No. 18, followed by San Diego State at No. 39, UNLV at No. 43, San José State at No. 85, Grand Canyon at No. 91 and Nevada at No. 107.
Individually, three Mountain West golfers rank inside the top 100 nationally, led by San Diego State’s Harry Takis at No. 4. New Mexico’s Mesa Falleur and Johnnie Clark check in at No. 21 and No. 82 respectively.
San Diego State is the four-time defending team champion and has won seven titles overall. The Aztecs are seeking to become just first team to win five straight MW titles.
The Lobos have won a league-record eight titles, with the last one coming in 2021. UNLV has won five MW crowns (last in 2018), while Colorado State has won two (last in 2010).
Omni Tucson National is hosting the MW Men’s Golf Championship for the 15th time and first since 2023.

Hole 1:
Groups 1-5: 7:00-7:48 a.m. – New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV
Groups 6-10: 8:00-8:48 a.m. – San José State, Grand Canyon, Nevada
Hole 10:
Groups 11-15: 7:00-7:48 a.m. – Wyoming, Utah State, Air Force
Groups 16-20: 8:00-8:48 a.m. – Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State
For rounds two and three, team groups will be set by results from the previous round.
