COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Grand Canyon’s Jada Cooper was tabbed the Mountain West Softball Player of the Week while teammate Reagan Holtorf collected the MW Softball Freshman of the Week nod. Nevada’s Tess Bumiller was named the MW Softball Pitcher of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JADA COOPER, GRAND CANYON
Sophomore, First Base/Designated Player, Houston, Texas/Westside HS
- Led the Lopes to a 3-0 week to start Conference play with a series sweep over New Mexico.
- Logged a batting average of .444, slugged at a .778 clip and tallied an on-base percentage of .500.
- Recorded two runs on four hits and one home run, while driving in five RBIs.
- Defensively, registered nine putouts and one assist.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
TESS BUMILLER, NEVADA
Senior, Redmond, Washington/Utah State
- Led the Wolf Pack to a 2-1 week, winning the Conference series over Boise State.
- Pitched in the circle for the Pack in both of their wins and logged a 0.00 ERA.
- Faced a total of 32 batters, allowed only seven hits, zero runs and struck out eight batters.

REAGAN HOLTORF, GRAND CANYON
Freshman, Second Base, Peoria, Arizona/Sandra Day O’Connor
- Helped guide the Lopes to a 3-0 series sweep of New Mexico.
- Hit and slugged at a clip of .444 and posted an on-base percentage of .583.
- Across nine at-bats and 13 plate appearances tallied three runs, four hits and three RBIs.
- Defensively, collected six putouts and two assists.
