COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State senior Chanachon Chokprajakchat was tabbed the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week. On the women’s side, San Diego State’s Ema Narita was named the MW Women’s Golfer of the Week honor and Wyoming’s Kiley Reisner collected the MW Women’s Golf Freshman of the Week nod.

MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
CHANACHON CHOKPRAJAKCHAT, SAN DIEGO STATE
Senior, Bangkok, Thailand/Anaheim Discovery Christian School

  • Led the Aztecs to a fifth-place team finish out of the 15 programs present at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational.
  • Notched a third-place individual finish in a field of 96 competitors with 207 strokes.
  • Recorded a -9 on the course, logging scores of 69-68-70.
  • His 54-hole score was the lowest of his career.

WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
EMA NARITA, SAN DIEGO STATE
Junior, Tokyo, Japan/Gakushuin HS

  • Led San Diego State to a fifth-place team finish out of the 10 teams represented at the Yale Invitational West.
  • Shot a career-low 210 across the three-rounds where the senior tied for second place.
  • Tallied a -6 on the course with scores of 69-72-69 respectively.
  • Beat out two golfers ranked in the top 50, six in the top 100 and 14 in the top 130.


WOMEN’S FRESHMAN GOLFER OF THE WEEK
KILEY REISNER, WYOMING
Northridge, California/Simi Valley HS

  • Led the Cowgirls to a team third-place finish over eight other programs at the Thunderbird Classic.
  • Recorded an individual victory with 214 strokes across the three rounds against 60 competitors.
  • Clinched the championship with a birdie on the second hole, while Stetson’s Isaki Sakashita recorded a double bogey.
