COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State guard Nala Williams was named the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and Nevada’s Skylar Durley picked up the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week nod.

This is Durley’s fourth and Williams’ second MW weekly honor during the 2025-26 season.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NALA WILLIAMS, SAN DIEGO STATE
Senior, Guard, Long Beach, California/Cal State Dominquez Hills

  • Led the Aztecs to a 2-0 week with wins over UNLV (80-62) and Fresno State (68-59), helping them secure a share of the MW regular-season title.
  • Averaged 13.5 points, eight rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
  • Against the Lady Rebels, recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal.
  • Against the Bulldogs, tallied 14 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals.


WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SKYLAR DURLEY, NEVADA
Guard, Edmond, Oklahoma/Edmond North HS

  • Averaged 12.5 points, six rebounds, 3.5 assists per game and shot 48 percent from the floor across the Wolf Pack’s two games.
  • At Colorado State, registered 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one steal.
  • At UNLV, collected 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
