ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico senior Mesa Falleur was honored Tuesday when he was named to the 2025-26 Haskins Award Final Fall Watch List. Falleur was one of 25 players named to the list as players to watch for this year’s award, given to the nation’s top collegiate golfer.

The Haskins Award presented by Stifel honors the player of the year in men’s college golf, as selected by college golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media. Players on the Haskins Award Watch List were selected by a panel of Golfweek and Golf Channel reporters. Falleur is the first Lobo named to a watch list since Bastien Amat was named to the Spring Watch List in 2023-24.

Falleur is currently ranked No. 26 in the Clippd national individual rankings. During the fall season, he posted a 70.33 stroke average, with eight of his 12 rounds being par or better. He earned the victory at the Windon Memorial in Chicago while also finishing third at The Wohali. His 12-under total at the Windon Memorial was his collegiate-best 54-hole score. Falleur was honored as the Mountain West Golfer of the Month for September.

Falleur has led New Mexico to a No. 17 national ranking and four top-four finishes this fall, including a title at The Wohali. The Lobos open the spring season in January at the Southwestern Intercollegiate in Westlake Village, Calif.
