BOISE, Idaho – Boise State first baseman Makenzie Butt was named Softball America’s Preseason Freshman Watch List, Tuesday.
Butt batted .489 during her four-year career at Fountain Valley (Calif.) High School. She collected 64 extra-base hits, including 32 home runs and added 131 RBI and 107 runs in 97 games.
As a senior, she garnered second-team all-state accolades. During her career, she was an All-CIF, All-Orange County and all-league selection.
