CLOVIS, Calif. – The second day of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships concluded on Friday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. After two days, Colorado State still sits atop the men’s and women’s leaderboards.

The day began with the conclusion of the decathlon and heptathlon. Colorado State’s Mateo Munoz won the decathlon with 7,557 points. San Diego State’s Jenna Fee Feyerabend won the heptathlon with a meet record 5,905 points. She won her third Mountain West heptathlon title, and first since 2024.

In the men’s long jump, Raekwon Weatherspoon set a new Boise State program record with a first place jump of 7.91m. It was the longest jump at the championship since 2023. In the high jump, Colorado State’s Ndayiragije Shukurani earned gold with a jump of 2.18m. It was the highest mark at the Outdoor Championships since 2011.

GCU’s Tatum Moku set a Mountain West Championship meet record in the pole vault at a mark of 4.38 meters.

New Mexico’s Pamela Kosgei defended her steeplechase title, while also nearing her own meet record, finishing Friday in 9:44.25. Wyoming’s Ryker Holtzen earned his second championship title in the men’s steeplechase, clocking a time of 8:37.62.
