LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Mountain West announced the 2026 Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team and individual honors on Tuesday evening, as voted on by the league’s 12 head coaches.

UNLV’s Veronika Kliuch has been tabbed the 2026 Mountain West Women’s Tennis Player of the Year. The standout sophomore was impressive this spring, going 16-0 in dual competition, including a perfect 7-0 in Mountain West play at No. 1 singles to help the Rebels clinch a share of the regular-season title. Overall, the Lviv, Ukraine native posted a 23-2 record and picked up two Mountain West Player of the Week awards on the season. The is the ninth time the league’s player of the year has come from UNLV and the first time since 2018-19 when former Rebel Aiwen Zhu earned the honor in back-to-back years.

Utah State’s Terezia Mlkva has been named the 2026 Mountain West Freshman of the Year. Playing at No. 1 singles in her first season as an Aggie, Mlkva posted a 15-15 record overall and went 10-9 in dual matches, including 4-6 in Mountain West play. A native of Slovakia, Mlkva earned MW Freshman of the Week honors three times this season and is the first Aggie in program history to earn a freshman of the year or player of the year honor for Utah State.
