LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men’s tennis team earned its highest ranking in 13 years as the Rebels came in at No. 60 in this week’s Division I ITA Rankings.
The Rebels, under third-year head coach Andy Jackson, hold an 8-4 overall mark in duals this season and are fresh off wins over No. 54 Grand Canyon and Big 12 Conference foe Utah.
It’s the highest standing by the program since UNLV was ranked No. 59 on April 9, 2013.
Individually, Rebel standout Ilia Snitari continued his stay in the ITA Singles Rankings, coming in at No. 59 with a record of 21-2 overall as a sophomore.
The Rebels next host No. 65 Gonzaga on March 11 starting with doubles play at 3 p.m. Admission to all matches at the Fertitta Tennis Complex is free of charge.
