AROUND THE MOUNTAIN WEST
- The MW has three programs in the top 90 of the NET (San Diego State – 73; UNLV – 85; Colorado State– 87) and five in the top 120 (New Mexico – 103; Boise State – 114).
- The Mountain West is one of 10 leagues (ACC, A10, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Ivy, SEC, Sun Belt and WCC) and one of six non-Autonomous 4 leagues that have three or more teams ranked in the top 90 of the NET rankings.
- The MW is one of six leagues (ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Horizon, MAAC) with at least one team (San Diego State) undefeated in conference action through its first 11 contests.
- Mountain West teams have taken down six Autonomous 4 and Big East programs: UNLV 85 – DePaul 78, Grand Canyon 78 – SMU 60, UNLV 76 – Creighton 67, New Mexico 72 at Arizona 69, San Diego State 64 at Kansas State 53, New Mexico 63 – Houston 41.
- The MW is one of nine leagues, and one of six non-A4 conferences, to hold opponents to 62.8 points per game or less this season (America East – 59.8, Ivy – 60.4, Coastal – 61.4, Southern – 61.6, Patriot – 61.6, SEC – 62.0, A10 – 62.2, Big 12 – 62.6, Mountain West – 62.8).
- San Diego State has won 19 consecutive Conference games (including the MW tournament) dating back to last season, the fourth-longest active streak in DI. Additionally, it is the fifth-longest fun any MW team has had in league history.
- UNLV’s Shelbee Brown and Meadow Roland have each recorded a double-double in the same game four times this season, tied for the third most in DI. Only two other MW duos have done so more often within a single season – Colorado State’s Ellen Nystrom & Elin Gustavsson in 2016-17 (six) and UNLV’s Shamela Hampton & Jamie Smith in 2008-09 (five).
- The Broncos are ranked second in DI for 3-point percentage (39.9).
- The Rams are ranked 15th in DI in opponent points (55.6).

March 10 – MW Championship Game @ 6:30 p.m. PT (CBSSN) - UNLV’s Destiny Leo has been named to the 2026 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list. Leo is one of 20 student-athletes on the list.
- The MW welcomes three new head coaches to the league: Ryan McCarthy (Fresno State), Winston Gandy (Grand Canyon) and Jonas Chatterton (San José State).
- Four MW programs competed in postseason tournaments last season: Air Force (WNIT), San Diego State (NCAA), UNLV (WBIT), Wyoming (WBIT).
