COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the 2025 Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team and individual honors on Tuesday morning, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
Utah State’s Kaylie Kofe was selected as the Mountain West Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year. UNLV’s Jaida Harris was named the league’s Newcomer of the Year and Boise State’s Eliza Sharp collected the MW Freshman of the Year nod. Utah State’s Rob Neilson was named the MW Coach of the Year.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
KAYLIE KOFE, UTAH STATE
Sophomore, Setter, Idaho Falls, Idaho/Bonneville HS
- Earned Mountain West Offensive Player for the Week once during the 2025 season.
- Led the MW in league play with 784 assists, 11.7 assists per set, 41 kills on a .374 attack percentage, 18 service aces, 176 digs and 19 blocks for the Aggies.
- Earned Utah State’s first MW Player of the Year honor.
- Led her team to its second regular-season title and fifth consecutive trip to the Mountain West tournament.
NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR
JAIDA HARRIS, UNLV
Sophomore, Outside, Las Vegas, Nevada/Long Beach State
- A transfer from Long Beach State, she recorded 254 kills, 14 assists, 22 service aces, 146 digs and 35 blocks for the Rebels.
- She is the second Rebel to collect the MW Newcomer of the Year honor and first since 2022.
- Harris won one Old Trapper MW weekly honor this season.
FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR
ELIZA SHARP, BOISE STATE
Middle Blocker, Burlingame, California/Burlingame HS
- Collected 158 kills on a .343 attack efficiency, 15 digs and 81 blocks for the Broncos.
- Helped the Blue and Orange to their fifth Mountain West tournament appearance and fourth consecutive since the event was brought back in 2021.
- Second Bronco in a row to garner the MW Freshman of the Year nod and fifth since Boise State joined the league.
COACH OF THE YEAR
ROB NEILSON, UTAH STATE
- Led the Utah State to an 18-0 Conference record, the sixth time in Conference history, and first since 2020, a team went undefeated in league play.
- Guided the Aggies to their second regular-season title and fifth consecutive trip to the league tournament.
- Claimed his and the Aggies second MW Coach of the Year award.
