Mountain West Announces the 2025 Credit Union 1 Women's Volleyball Championship Bracket

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the six-team 2025 Credit Union 1 Women’s Volleyball Championship bracket on Saturday following the conclusion of league play. The six programs will compete for the MW Championship title and the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

The three-day event is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 29, at The Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For the third time since Utah State joined the league in 2013, the Aggies were crowned the MW regular-season champions, with a perfect 18-0 record in Conference play. As the regular-season champion, USU will have a bye in the first round of the Conference tournament and is the No. 1 seed. The Aggies are making their fifth MW tournament appearance, all of which have come since 2021.

The last bye goes to the No. 2 seed Colorado State, the defending tournament champion who will be making its 15^th tournament appearance. Wyoming will complete the top half of the bracket as the No. 3 seed. This tournament is the first for the Cowgirls since 2011 and since the event was brought back a decade later in 2021 and marks the program’s 11^th championship appearance. The No. 4 seed will be Boise State, marking its fifth tournament appearance since joining the league. Conference newcomer Grand Canyon earned the No. 5 seed followed by San Diego State as the No. 6 seed, which is making its 13^th appearance.

The opening round begins on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and features two matches with No. 4 Boise State and No. 5 Grand Canyon at 1 p.m. PT, followed by No. 3 Wyoming and No. 6 San Diego State at 4 p.m. PT.

In the semifinal round on Friday, Nov. 28, the winner of the No. 4 Boise State vs. No. 5 Grand Canyon match will go head-to-head with No. 1 Utah State at 1 p.m. PT. The No. 3 Wyoming vs. No. 6 San Diego State match winner will face off against No. 2 Colorado State at 4 p.m. PT.

Saturday’s championship match is set for 3 p.m. PT.
