COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The bracket is set for the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women’s Soccer Championship, which kicks off on Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Boas Soccer Complex in Boise, Idaho.
The six-team single-elimination tournament will feature two matches each on Sunday, Nov. 2, and Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 4 p.m. MT and 7 p.m. MT, with the championship match being played on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. MT. All five matches will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network and the MW App. Live stats for each match will also be available on the 2025 MW Women’s Soccer Championship Central page.
Boise State claimed the 2025 regular-season title, its second in a row, with an 8-0-2 Conference record and earned the No. 1 seed in the MW tournament. The Broncos are making their 12th MW championship appearance. Boise State owns a 9-9-1 record in the Conference tournament and claimed its lone tournament title in 2019.
Air Force earned its first MW tournament berth since 2017 and will be the No. 2 seed, its highest seed in program history, after registering a 6-2-2 mark in Conference action. The Falcons are making their ninth MW postseason appearance.
Earning its eighth MW championship berth, Utah State is the No. 3 seed after concluding MW play with a 5-2-3 mark. The Aggies are the defending MW tournament champions after winning their second straight championship title a season ago. USU is making its fifth postseason appearance in a row, dating back to 2021.
With a 4-2-4 MW record, San Diego State is the No. 4 seed in the MW tournament after winning the tiebreaker over Colorado State and New Mexico. SDSU is making its 25th Conference tournament appearance in program history. SDSU has won five MW tournament titles in program history, with the last in 2017.
Colorado State will be the No. 5 seed and make its third consecutive MW postseason appearance after finishing the league season with a 4-2-4 record. The Rams are making their fifth MW tournament appearance since 2019.
With a 4-2-4 Conference record, New Mexico is the No. 6 seed in the MW tournament and is making its 22nd Conference tournament appearance in program history. UNM has won two MW tournament titles in program history, with the last in 2021.
In Sunday’s opening round, No. 3 Utah State plays No. 6 New Mexico at 4 p.m. MT, followed by No. 4 San Diego State versus No. 5 Colorado State at 7 p.m. MT. The winner of Sunday’s first match will take on No. 2 seed Air Force at 4 p.m. MT on Wednesday, Nov. 5, in the first of two semifinal matches. The other semifinal contest on Wednesday will pit top-seed Boise State against the winner of Sunday’s No. 4 vs. No. 5 contest at 7 p.m. MT.
The winners of the semifinal matches will vie for the Conference championship title on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. MT on the Mountain West Network. The winner will be crowned the 2025 MW women’s soccer champion and punch its ticket to the NCAA women’s soccer tournament.
