COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force sophomore midfielder Annika Jost has been named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while Boise State goalkeeper Ava de Leest has been selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Utah State’s Hadli Barrera has been tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNIKA JOST, AIR FORCE

Sophomore, Midfielder, Temecula, California/Temecula Valley HS

  • Led Air Force to a 2-0-0 record last week with wins over San José State (4-2) and Fresno State (2-1), earning the Falcons’ first MW championship berth since 2017.
  • Recorded four goals and an assist for nine points in two starts. Also, registered seven shots.
  • Posted a hat trick against the Spartans, the first for Air Force since the 2021 season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

AVA DE LEEST, BOISE STATE

Freshman, Goalkeeper, Fullerton, California/Troy HS

  • Guided Boise State to a 1-0 victory over Grand Canyon, claiming the 2025 MW regular-season title.
  • Posted a shutout against the Lopes.
  • Recorded two saves in 90 minutes of action.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

HADLI BARRERA, UTAH STATE

Freshman, Midfielder/Forward, Hyrum, Utah/Mountain Crest HS

  • Helped Utah State to a 2-0-0 mark with wins over Nevada (6-1) and San José State (7-1), clinching a berth to the MW championship.
  • Recorded three goals and an assist for seven points in 81 minutes of work on the pitch.
  • Scored two goals and assisted a third, becoming the first Aggie freshman to record a brace since 2023.
