COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Wyoming junior midfielder Alyssa Glover has been named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week. Colorado State sophomore goalkeeper Gray Willson has been selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week, while teammate Piper Carlson was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

This is the second Conference weekly accolade of the season for all three.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALYSSA GLOVER, WYOMING

Junior, Midfielder, Englewood, Colorado/Cherry Creek HS

  • Led Wyoming to a 1-0-1 week with a 3-0 win over Nevada and a 1-1 draw against UNLV.
  • Paced the Cowgirls’ offense with three goals for six points in two starts.
  • Netted a brace in the win over the Wolf Pack.
  • Scored Wyoming’s lone goal against the Rebels.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GRAY WILLSON, COLORADO STATE

Sophomore, Goalkeeper, Rocklin, California/Miami

  • Guided Colorado State to 1-0 victory over UNLV.
  • Posted her fifth shutout of the season.
  • Totaled four saves in 90 minutes of action.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

PIPER CARLSON, COLORADO STATE

Defender, Lakewood, Colorado/Green Mountain HS

  • Helped Colorado State to shutout victory over UNLV (1-0).
  • Anchored the Rams’ backline that posted their fifth shutout of the season.
  • Limited the Rebel’s offense to four shots.
