COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State junior Avery McBride and Utah State senior Tess Werts are two of 44 players named D1 Midfielders to Watch in 2025, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.
A product of Boise, Idaho, McBride appeared in 21 matches, including 20 starts, as sophomore. She finished 2024 with six goals and four assists, totaling 16 points in 1,154 minutes on the pitch.
Diamond, a native of Portland, Oregon, started 21 of Utah State’s 22 games last season. She totaled 25 points with eight goals and nine assists in 1,227 minutes of action.
The 2025 women’s soccer season kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 14.
