COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State junior Mia Casey and Utah State junior Summer Diamond are two of 48 players named D1 Midfielders to Watch in 2025, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Friday.
A product of Rialto, California, Casey started 17 matches, while appearing in 21 for Colorado State as a sophomore. She finished 2024 with seven goals and seven assists, totaling 21 points in 1,530 minutes on the pitch.
Diamond, a native of Uintah, Utah, started 23 of Utah State’s 24 games last season. She totaled 15 points with five goals and five assists in 1,531 minutes of action. Diamond scored a team-best three game-winners in 2024.
The 2025 women’s soccer season kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 14.
