BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women’s golf head coach Kailin Downs has been selected to coach Team USA at the 2025 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup. The event will be held at Chukyo Golf Club in Toyota, Japan, June 24-27. Downs will lead the American team that consists of Gianna Clemente, Nikki Oh and Scarlett Schremmer. The trio will play 72 holes, completing one stroke play round each day. Team USA will compete against teams from Canada, Colombia, England, Italy, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand and Thailand.

This will be the first time Downs represents the country as a coach. In 2004, she was a member of Team USA during the Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship, played in Ichihara, Japan. Downs and Team USA captured a 32-28 victory over Team Japan.
