COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the 2025 Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference selections, which is composed of the top-three finishers in each individual event and the top three relay teams at the MW championships.

The New Mexico women finished the meet with 153 points to win its first outdoor title in program history, completing the sweep of the cross country, indoor and outdoor titles this year. Lobo head coach Darren Gauson was named 2025 MW Women’s Coach of the Year to add to his indoor and cross country women’s coach of the year honors.

Colorado State placed second in the standings with 112 points followed by Fresno State in third with 99 points.

UNLV senior Kennedi Porter was named the 2025 Mountain West Women’s Track Performer of the Meet after sweeping the 100-meter and 200-meter golds for the second consecutive year and helping the Rebels’ 4×100-meter relay team win gold as well.

San José State’s Emilia Sjostrand earned the 2025 Mountain West Women’s Field Performer of the Meet honor after winning her third straight triple jump title and finishing runner-up in the long jump.

On the men’s side, Colorado State finished with 192.50 points to win the team title, marking the Rams’ fourth MW outdoor title in program history and first since 2021. CSU head coach Brian Bedard was named MW Men’s Coach of the Year for outdoor after also garnering the indoor coach of the year honors in 2025. The Ram men swept the indoor and outdoor titles in the same season for the first time since 2019.

New Mexico freshman Matthew Kosgei was voted the 2025 Men’s Track Performer of the Meet after winning gold and setting the MW Championship record (8:25.56) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

For the second consecutive year, Air Force’s Texas Tanner was selected as the 2025 Mountain West Men’s Field Performer of the Meet. The junior set a pair of MW Championship meet records in winning the hammer throw (73.23m) and the discus (63.59m) in back-to-back years.
