MW Outdoor Track & Field Championship Central | Results – Day Two | Saturday Start List

CLOVIS, Calif. – The 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships resumed on Friday at Veterans Memorial Stadium with eighteen events taking place over the course of the day, including the conclusion of the men’s decathlon and the women’s heptathlon.

Heading into the final day of competition, Colorado State holds the top spot on the men’s leaderboard with 82.50 points with Air Force sitting in second at 53.50 points. Fresno State maintained their first-place position atop the women’s leaderboard with 65 points with Colorado State right behind them in second with 58 points.

Boise State’s Landon Helms, the 2025 MW Indoor Champion in the heptathlon, captured the outdoor title in the decathlon with a total of 7,673 points, the third-most all-time in Conference history. On the women’s side, Fresno State’s Ella Spaulding finished with 5,551 points to win the women’s heptathlon.

Two MW Championship meet records in the men’s and women’s 3000 steeplechase were broken in dominating fashion by a pair of runners for New Mexico. Pamela Kosgei’s winning time of 9:31.96 shattered the previous meet record by almost thirteen seconds, while Matthew Kosgei bested the previous MW Championship record by just under 15 seconds with a time of 8:25.56.
