COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State’s Kaiya Robertson has been named the Mountain West Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, while Air Force’s Morgan Glaser earned the MW Women’s Field Athlete and Freshman of the Week honors.

On the men’s side, Boise State’s Tom Graham-Marr garnered the MW Men’s Track Athlete of the Week award, Air Force’s Texas Tanner picked up the MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honor for a second straight week and fourth time during the outdoor season and fellow Falcon Saketh Rudraraju was named the MW Men’s Freshman of the Week.

WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE
KAIYA ROBERTSON, BOISE STATE
Junior, Portland, Oregon/Franklin HS

  • Finished first in the 1,500-meter race at the Portland Twilight, setting a new Mountain West and Boise State program record in the event with a time of 4:10.15.
  • Her personal-best time ranks first in the Mountain West and 19th in the NCAA.

WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MORGAN GLASER, AIR FORCE
Freshman, La Vista, Nebraska/Papillion La Vista HS

  • Won the high jump at the Air Force Twilight Open.
  • Cleared a mark of 1.76 meters to finish first among nine competitors, just an inch off her personal best.

MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
TOM GRAHAM-MARR, BOISE STATE
Fifth-Year, Stirling, Scotland/University of Aberdeen

  • Finished fourth in the 1,500-meter race in a field of 55 runners at the Portland Twilight.
  • His time of 3:38.78 was a personal-best and improved on his own Boise State program record in the event.
  • Second-fastest 1,500 meter time in the MW this season.

MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
TEXAS TANNER, AIR FORCE
Junior, Sheridan, Wyoming/Sheridan HS

  • Finished first in the hammer throw at the Air Force Twilight Open with a mark of 75.16 meters, beating the rest of the field by more than 10 meters.
  • His mark, a meet record, added more than five feet to the facility record that had stood since the 1983 Olympic Festival.
  • Second-best mark in Mountain West history only behind his own record mark of 75.83 meters he set earlier this season.

MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SAKETH RUDRARAJU, AIR FORCE
Freshman, Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange HS

  • Won the 1,500-meter race at the Air Force Twilight Open, clocking a time of 3:50.64 to win by nearly three seconds.
  • The altitude-converted time of 3:42.06 is the sixth-fastest time in Air Force history and the freshman class record.
  • Ranked ninth in the Mountain West in the event and fourth among freshmen.
