LUBBOCK, Texas – Colorado State women’s golf sophomore Kara Kaneshiro tee’s off the 2025 NCAA Regional round in Lubbock, Texas as she tries to land her spot in the NCAA Championships as an individual qualifier. Kaneshiro will compete in three rounds at The Rawls Course with rounds already moved up a day in the schedule due to forecasted weather in Lubbock. In order to qualify for the NCAA Championships, she will need to finish first among her field of six athletes competing as individuals.

Round One: +4

  • Kara finished her opening round playing four over par.
  • She totaled two birdies on the day including one in her second hole of competition.
  • She finishes the day standing tied for third among individual competitors and tied for 19th overall.

Round Two: Monday, May 5 at 11:50 a.m. MT
