LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West revealed the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship bracket Saturday evening following the conclusion of the 2024-25 regular season.
New Mexico (25-6, 17-3 MW) won the Mountain West regular-season title and enters the 2025 Credit Union 1 MW Men’s Basketball Championship as the No. 1 seed. UNM won a program-record 17 Conference games en route to the title.
The Lobos won their first MW regular-season title since 2013 and fifth overall since the league’s inception in 1999. The Lobos enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed for the third time in men’s basketball history and first since the 2012-13 campaign.
With a 16-4 record during MW action, Colorado State earned the No. 2 seed, while Utah State (25-6, 15-5 MW) will also have a first-round bye as the No. 3 seed. San Diego State enters the championship as the No. 4 seed after posting a 14-6 record during the Conference slate. Boise State will be the No. 5 seed, UNLV earned the No. 6 seed and Nevada claims the No. 7 seed.
San José State and Wyoming earned the eight and nine seeds, respectively, while Fresno State (10) and Air Force (11) round out the bracket.
The 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 12-15 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
