HOUSTON – With day two of the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships in the books, five events were completed: the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard free, the 3-meter springboard, and the 400-yard medley relay.
In the 500-yard freestyle, Wyoming freshman Macy Hansen placed first with a time of 4:41.56, over two seconds ahead of second-place Enkhkhuslen Batbayar from Nevada, who finished in 4:44.32. Filling out the top three was Nevada’s Keira-Lee Allott, who recorded a time of 4:46.10. All three times are NCAA B Standards.
In the 200-yard IM, Washington State’s Emily Lundgren placed first with a time of 1:57.81, more than a second ahead of second-place Grace Wharton from UNLV, who finished in 1:59.35 as both logged NCAA B Standards. San Diego State’s Moa Bergdahl rounded out the top three with a time of 1:59.40.
In first and logging a time of 22.02 in the 50-yard freestyle was Washington State’s Darcy Revitt. Coming in second in 22.26 was Nevada’s Scarlett Ferris. San Diego State’s Meredith Smithbaker finished with bronze in a time of 22.34. All three times are NCAA B Standards.
San Diego State’s Valentina Lopez Arevalo placed first with a score of 367.45 to secure her second consecutive title in the 3-meter springboard. Nevada’s Bailey Heydra dove into second with a 334.90, and in third place was teammate Lucia Gabino with a 329.45.
Washington State won the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:34.13, while San Diego State logged a second-place time of 3:34.14 and Nevada finished third with a time of 3:34.59.

Day-three events are set to begin at 10:30 a.m. CT Friday, Feb. 21, with the 100-yard butterfly preliminary round followed by the 400-yard IM, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard backstroke prelims. Finals begin at approximately 6 p.m. CT with the 200-yard freestyle relay and team diving followed by the events in the previously listed order.
