LOGAN, Utah – For the first time in program history, Boise State women’s soccer has claimed sole possession of the Mountain West Regular Season Championship.
Boise State women’s soccer lost to No. 25 Utah State 2-0, but were still able to own the title with the help of a 0-0 draw in the Wyoming at Colorado State match.
The Aggies (16-1-4, 7-1-3 Mountain West) scored their first goal in the 22nd minute as Alex Day took a shot to the top center of the goal.
Utah State’s second goal came in the 67th minute, this time with Ellie Hendrix firing it at the left side of the goal.
As the MW Regular Season Champions, Boise State is the No. 1 seed heading into next week’s conference tournament and will host the 2025 MW Soccer Championship.

- Boise State will travel to the 2024 Mountain West Soccer Championship in San Diego, Calif., Nov. 3-9. The Broncos are the No. 1 seed and guaranteed a first-round bye. They will play on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. MT against the winner of the No. 4 and No. 5 seed match.
