FRESNO, California – No. 10 Utah State soccer (10-0-2, 1-0-1 MW) played 90 scoreless minutes on Sunday afternoon at Bulldog Soccer Stadium, picking up a scoreless draw to remain unbeaten.
The Aggies played strong defense and dominated the time of possession, but were unable to get on the board despite taking 13 shots while limiting the Bulldogs to just six. Utah State found more opportunities as the game went on, out-shooting Fresno State 7-1 in the final 20 minutes, but none found the back of the net.

MATCH NOTES
- With the draw, Utah State has now gone 12-straight matches without a loss. This unbeaten streak is a new program record, surpassing the previous record of 11 set in 2012.
- The Aggies are one of just seven unbeaten teams remaining in the country.
- This is the second draw of the year for Utah State, both coming in scoreless results. The previous draw was against Washington State on Sept. 19.
- This is the second-straight shutout posted by the Aggie defense, and the team’s eighth this year.
- Utah State finished the match with 13 shots to Fresno State’s six. In shots on goal, USU had a 3-2 advantage.
- Seven of USU’s 13 shots came in the final 20 minutes.
- Nine different players recorded at least one shot for Utah State, led by three shots by graduate midfielder Alex Day. Sophomore forward Kate Christian had two of the team’s three shots on frame.
- Graduate Cora Brendle played all 90 minutes in goal, recording two saves in the match.
- With the draw, Utah State is now an even 9-9-5 all-time in matches against Fresno State, including a 3-3-3 record in Fresno.
