LOGAN, Utah – After posting a 2-0 week with road wins over in-state Big 12 foes Utah and then-No. 16 BYU, Utah State soccer climbed eight spots in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll to No. 11.

This is the highest ranking in program history for the Aggies, who had never been ranked or received a single vote in the poll prior to this season. Utah State is an undefeated 5-0 this season, with wins over three 2023 NCAA Tournament teams (vs Pepperdine, Texas Tech, at BYU) and three-straight wins over Big 12 opponents (Texas Tech, at Utah, at BYU).

Utah State received 118 points in the poll, up from last week’s 47. USU is the only Mountain West team that received any votes. Pepperdine, who the Aggies defeated 3-0 on Aug. 15, rank No. 20, while BYU is also still receiving votes. Upcoming Utah State opponents Utah Valley and Grand Canyon are both receiving votes as well.

The Aggies will travel to Orem, Utah, this wrap up a three-game in-state road trip as they take on Utah Valley (2-2-1) on Thursday, Sept., at 7 p.m. Utah State returns home this weekend to host Pacific (1-4) on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m.
