LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Six Mountain West programs were named to the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award list.
Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, New Mexico, Utah State and Wyoming were among the record 1,400 teams honored. To earn a spot on the list, programs must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).
New Mexico and Utah State also received the additional distinction of the Team Academic Honor Roll, which celebrates programs in the top 20% of GPAs for their division.
