COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State swept the Mountain West Players of the Week following a stellar opening weekend. Freshman outfielder Sophia Knight was tabbed the MW Player and Freshman of the Week, while senior Taylor Caudill earned MW Pitcher of the Week honors.

- Led the Broncos to a 4-1 record on opening weekend with wins over then-No.20/24 Northwestern (4-3), St. Thomas (9-4), then-RV Arizona State (6-4) and Grand Canyon (3-1).
- The leadoff hitter batted .632 on 19 at bats to open the season, recording 12 hits, four runs, one RBI in the process.
- Tallied a team-best two doubles and the Broncos’ only triple.
- Posted a .842 slugging percentage and a 1.474 on base percentage.
- In the outfield, logged 14 putouts over the five games.

- Credited with Boise State’s four wins to open the season.
- The senior posted a .33 ERA over 21 innings pitched.
- Gave up only seven hits and one earned run over her four games in the circle.
- Notched 23 strikeouts for the Broncos.
