COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada sophomore Nick Davidson has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while UNLV’s Dedan Thomas Jr. was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

NICK DAVIDSON, NEVADA
Sophomore, Forward, Mission Viejo, California/Mater Dei HS
- Led Nevada to a 2-0 record last week with victories over then-No. 22 Utah State (77-63) and then-No. 24 San Diego State (70-66), marking the first time in program history to defeat ranked teams in consecutive games.
- Averaged 19.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 66.7 percent from the field.
- Against the Aggies, scored a career-high 25 points. Also tallied 10 boards and two steals.
- Recorded 14 points and five rebounds against the Aztecs.

- Helped UNLV to a win at then-No. 25 New Mexico (80-77).
