COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State junior forward Kenzie MacMillan has been named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while New Mexico sophomore goalkeeper Alli Davis was selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Utah State’s Summer Diamond has been tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KENZIE MACMILLAN, BOISE STATE

Junior, Forward, Mission Viejo, California/Santa Margarita HS

  • Led Boise State to a 1-0-1 mark to start 2023.
  • Netted three goals for six points over two matches last weekend. Also totaled six shots on goal.
  • Recorded two goals in half, including the game-winning goal, at North Dakota.
  • Also scored a goal at North Dakota State.

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALLI DAVIS, NEW MEXICO

Sophomore, Goalkeeper, Bend, Oregon/Summit HS

  • Helped New Mexico to an 0-0-2 record to start the 2023 campaign.
  • Recorded 12 saves and allowed just one goal in 180 minutes in the net over the weekend.
  • Tallied eight saves, tying her career-best mark, against Texas Tech.
  • Registered a shutout and four saves against Northern Arizona.

 

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

SUMMER DIAMOND, UTAH STATE

Midfielder, Uintah, Utah/Bonneville HS

  • Aided Utah State to a 1-1 mark in the first week of the 2023 season.
  • Recorded two goals in win over Weber State, becoming the first Aggie to score a brace in collegiate debut.
  • Tallied three shots and two shots on goal in 129 minutes on the pitch.
