COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force senior Ryan Johnson has been named the Mountain West Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, Colorado State senior Jackson Morris was tabbed MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week and San José State’s Demaris Waters earned MW Men’s Track & Field Freshman of the Week.
New Mexico sophomore Emma Heckel has been named the MW Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, while Fresno State junior Jordyn Bryant was named MW Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. San José State’s Sharli’e McCuller was tabbed as the MW Women’s Track & Field Freshman of the Week.

- Competing at the Stanford Invitational, set Air Force record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 28:20.70.
- Deleted 13 seconds off previous program record that stood since 2009.
- Currently ranked No. 8 in the West Region and ninth nationally in 10,000-meter run in 2023.

- Won the javelin at the Jack Christiansen Invitation, recording a throw of 74.27 meters.
- Set a Colorado State record with the throw and currently ranks as the sixth-longest throw nationally this season.

- At the West Coast Relays, registered a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.91 seconds.
- Time is fifth-fastest 110-meter hurdle time in San José State history.

- At the Stanford Invitational, recorded the seventh-fastest 10,000-meter time in the NCAA this season (32:31.42).
- Topped personal best time in the event by over 30 seconds.
- Best time in the MW this season.

JORDYN BRYANT, FRESNO STATE
Junior, Oakland, California / Miramonte HS
- Won the discus at the West Coast Relays with a toss of 55.42m/181-10, the fourth-longest throw all-time at Fresno State.
- The throw ranks No. 2 in the MW and No. 18 nationally this season.
- Also registered a runner-up finish in the shot put with a toss of 14.87m/48-9.5.

SHARLI’E MCCULLER, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Stockton, California / Edison HS
- Competing at the West Coast Relays, finished in second place in the 100-meter dash, recording a time of 11.72 seconds.
- This time is the sixth-fastest in San José State history.
- Earned second place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.99 seconds.
- Anchored a 4×100-meter relay team that recorded the third-fastest time in school history on its way to a victory.
