HOUSTON, Texas – San Diego States sits atop the team standings with 1,119 points followed by UNLV in second (712.5) after the third day of the 2023 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships. The Aztecs maintained their lead with four first-place finishes on the day. 
 
Nevada senior Benedict Nagy won the gold medal in the 400-yard individual medley for the third-consecutive year, becoming just the second-ever Mountain West swimmer to three-peat in the event (Nevada’s Yawen Li; 2014-16).
 
UNLV grabbed the remaining gold on the day.
