COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference selections, which is composed of the top-three finishers in each individual event and the top three relay teams at the MW championships.

The New Mexico women finished the meet with 190 points to win back-to-back outdoor titles, repeating as champions, after capturing their first outdoor championship in program history last spring. The 190 points is the most for a winning team since BYU tallied 191 in 2011. The Lobo women also swept the cross country, indoor title and outdoor title for a second consecutive year, becoming the first program to do so since BYU accomplished the feat in 2004 and 2005.

Lobo head coach Darren Gauson was named 2026 MW Women’s Coach of the Year to add to his indoor and cross country women’s coach of the year honors, sweeping the three awards for a second straight year and giving him nine total on the women’s side during in his Lobo career.

Colorado State placed second in the standings with 135.50 points followed by Boise State in third with 86 points.

New Mexico junior Taniya Looney was named the 2026 Mountain West Women’s Track Performer of the Meet after sweeping the 100-meter and 200-meter golds and helping the Lobos’ 4×100-meter relay team to a second-place finish as well.

San Diego State senior Jenna Fee Feyerbend earned the 2026 Mountain West Women’s Field Performer of the Meet honor after winning her first outdoor heptathlon title with 5,905 points, which not only set a Mountain West Championship meet record but stands as the top heptathlon mark in Conference history.

On the men’s side, Colorado State finished with 200 points to win a second consecutive team title and the program’s fifth MW outdoor title overall. CSU head coach Brian Bedard was named MW Men’s Coach of the Year for outdoor after garnering the indoor coach of the year honors in February, marking a second straight year Bedard has swept both awards. The Ram men also swept the indoor and outdoor titles in the same season in back-to-back years.

Air Force took second with 149 points, while Utah State came in third with 109 points.

Grand Canyon senior Miguel Rosario was voted the 2026 Men’s Track Performer of the Meet after collecting golds in the 100-meter and 200-meter races. He set MW Championship records in both events with a 100-meter time of 10.09 and a 200-meter time of 20.13, which ranks tied for fourth-fastest and second-fastest, respectively, in Mountain West history.

For the third consecutive year, Air Force senior Texas Tanner was selected as the 2026 Mountain West Men’s Field Performer of the Meet after breaking his own MW Championship meet records in the hammer throw (77.73m) and the discus (65.61m), marking the third straight year he’s broken the meet records in winning those events.
