FORT COLLINS, Colo.  – Colorado State men’s basketball season continues with an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), which the program accepted on Sunday night. The Rams will take on Saint Joseph’s in the first round on Wednesday, March 18, at 9 p.m. MT on ESPNU.

“I am excited for our guys and our program to be able to continue to play this season,” head coach Ali Farokhmanesh said. “We have had a great journey throughout the year of both highs and lows and the guys have earned this opportunity. We are looking forward to continuing to compete against top teams in the nation and raise our program’s brand.”

This will be Colorado State’s 11th appearance in the NIT, first since 2021 when they finished in fourth place. Overall, the program is 9-11 in the tournament.

Saint Joseph’s comes to Moby with a 22-11 overall record, finishing 13-5 in the Atlantic 10 and in third place. The Hawks fell in the A10 semifinals against No.2 seed VCU.
