COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the fourth year in a row, Utah State is headed to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship after the 2026 NCAA bracket was unveiled on Selection Sunday.
Utah State, the 2026 MW regular-season and tournament champions, earned a No. 9 seed and will face No. 8 Seed Villanova on Friday, March 20 at 1:10 p.m. PT, in San Diego, California. The game will be broadcast on TNT.
Utah State (28-6) is making its 26th overall NCAA tournament appearance and sixth since joining the Mountain West in 2013. The Aggies are making their fourth straight NCAA appearance and sixth in the last seven seasons. In 2023-24, USU advanced to the second round of The Big Dance with a win over TCU.
