COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the first time since 2023, Utah State is headed to the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship. The Aggies will face No. 7 Tennessee in the first round of the national tournament on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m. MT, in Tempe, Arizona.

Utah State is making its seventh NCAA appearance by earning the Mountain West’s automatic bid after winning the Conference championship on Saturday, Nov. 29. The Aggies are 23-7 overall and went 18-0 during MW play, the sixth team in league history to go undefeated in Conference action and first since 2020.

Offensively for the Aggies, Tierney Barlow leads the Conference with 299 kills (2.79 per set) as well as leading the league in hitting percentage (.444), which ranks fourth in all of DI women’s volleyball. Mountain West Player of the Year Kaylie Kofe leads the MW with 1,232 assists (11.1 per set) and ranks third among her DI peers. Defensively, Kendel Thompson has recorded 384 digs this season (3.4 per set), while Barlow has logged 12 block solos and 75 block assists and rookie Lauren Larkin has registered 15 solos and 82 assists.
