COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Utah State senior Tatum Stall has been named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while Colorado State sophomore Kate Yoshimoto has been tabbed the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Utah State rookie Kambree Rodriguez has been selected as the MW Freshman of the Week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

TATUM STALL, UTAH STATE

Senior, Outside Hitter, Chandler, Arizona / Perry HS

  • Helped the Aggies to a 2-0 week, clinching a share of the regular-season title after sweeping Air Force (3-0) and New Mexico (3-0).
  • Averaged 5.83 kills per set with 35 kills and a .470 hitting percentage.
  • Against the Falcons, posted 14 kills, one assist, one service ace and contributed eight digs.
  • Against the Lobos, logged 21 kills, six digs and one block for the Aggies.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

KATE YOSHIMOTO, COLORADO STATE

Sophomore, Libero, Honolulu, Hawai’i / Punahou School

  • Led the Rams to a 2-0 week with victories over Wyoming (3-1) and San José State (3-2).
  • Averaged 3.56 digs per set on 32 total. Also logged 56 receptions with a near perfect serve receive percentage of .964.
  • Against the Cowgirls, tallied 15 digs, 25 service receptions and six assists for the Rams.
  • Against the Spartans, registered 17 digs, 31 service receptions and five assists.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

KAMBREE RODRIGUEZ, UTAH STATE 

Libero, Syracuse, Utah / Syracuse HS

  • The Aggies logged a 2-0 week with wins over Air Force (3-0) and New Mexico (3-0), clinching a share of the regular-season title.
  • Averaged 3.0 digs per set on 18 total digs and logged a serve receive percentage of .973. Also averaged 1.5 assists per set on nine assists across the six sets played for the Aggies.
  • Against the Falcons, tallied nine digs and three assists.
  • Against the Lobos, recorded another nine digs and six assists. Additionally, contributed two kills.
