COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State senior guard Matt Bradley has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Nevada forward Darrion Williams was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.
This is the second weekly honor for Bradley and fourth for Williams this season.

MATT BRADLEY, SAN DIEGO STATE

- Led San Diego State to a pair of victories last week at Utah State (63-61) and against UNLV (82-71) to remain in first place in the MW standings.
- Averaged 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, while connecting on 72.2 percent (13-of-18) of shots from the floor and 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from long range.
- Recorded 18 points, six boards, three steals and an assist against the Aggies.
- Registered 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and one blocked shot against the Runnin’ Rebels.
MEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
DARRION WILLIAMS, NEVADA
Forward, Sacramento, California/Bishop Gorman HS
- Helped Nevada to a 2-0 record last week with wins at New Mexico (77-76) and against Fresno State (77-66) to take sole possession of second place in the Conference standings.
- Averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists, while shooting 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from the field.
- Scored a career-high 16 points against the Bulldogs. Also recorded eight rebounds and five assists.
- Registered eight points, five boards and five assists against the Lobos.
