COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After leading the Boise State Broncos through a successful 2018 campaign, head coach Beck Roghaar was named Mountain West Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year as selected by the league’s head coaches.

In 2018, the Broncos finished perfect in the regular-season against Conference opponents (5-0) and had an overall record of 14-8. Winners of six of their last seven matches, the Broncos advanced to the quarterfinals of the Mountain West championship after defeating Colorado State (4-3). The win was the first MW championship victory in program history. The Broncos roster featured six underclassmen, which includes all-conference singles winners Anja Dokic and Wilhelmina Palmer. Under Roghaar’s direction, Palmer was named MW Co-Freshman of The Year, after winning 12 dual singles matches at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles position.

Boise State’s No. 1 doubles team of Dokic/ Wiktoria Nosek were also recognized with selection to the all-conference doubles team.
