Bridget Howard joined Mountain West in August 2021, as the Studio Host of the Mountain West Network. In her role, Howard serves as on-camera talent, producing weekly content highlighting the conference and its member institutions in addition to serving as a sideline reporter/host for conference championship coverage.

Howard is currently the producer and host for The Rise podcast, a weekly show aimed at helping up-and-coming broadcasters. The Rise features interviews with media personalities across the country sharing how they got their start in the industry, the hardships they’ve faced, lessons they’ve learned, and advice they have from their experiences.

Prior to joining the Mountain West, Howard attended Kansas State University. She completed her degree in 3.5 years and graduated Magna Cum Laude in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Leadership Studies.

After playing on K-State’s Inaugural Women’s Soccer team during her Freshman year, Howard hung up her cleats and became a sideline reporter and host for K-State.HDTV, the school’s digital sports network. In this role, she was the sideline reporter for Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball and Soccer that aired on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, ESPN 3, and Fox Sports Kansas City. In addition to sideline reporting, she was a host for the K-State Gameday Pregame Show and was in charge of producing, editing, and writing weekly content for K-State Athletics social media. During her summers, she interned for the Kansas City T-Bones and MLB Whiparound on FOX Sports.
