COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV senior Nin Burns II has been named the Mountain West Baseball Player of the Week, while Grand Canyon junior Garrett Ahern has been selected the MW Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Grand Canyon newcomer Tanner Johns has been tabbed the MW Baseball Freshman of the Week.

- Led UNLV to a series victory over San Diego State.
- Batted .583 with seven hits, including a double and two home runs, four RBIs and four runs scored.
- Posted an on-base percentage of .583 and a slugging percentage of 1.167.
- Registered multi-hit efforts in two of his three starts in right field.

- Threw six scoreless innings across one relief outing.
- Earned the win on the mound over Nevada on Saturday.
- Scattered four hits and one walk, while striking out six batters.

- Helped Grand Canyon to a series victory over Nevada.
