COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San Diego State senior infielder Tyce Peterson has been named the Mountain West Baseball Player of the Week, while Grand Canyon junior Chase Frey has been selected the MW Baseball Pitcher of the Week. San Diego State infielder Max Farrell collected the MW Baseball Freshman of the Week honor.

- Threw a complete-game shutout in Grand Canyon’s 3-0 victory over Fresno State.
- Limited the Bulldogs to two hits and one walk in nine innings of work.
- Struck out eight batters.

- Helped San Diego State to a 3-1 record last week, including a series sweep against Air Force.
- Registered a .333 batting average with six hits, including a triple and a home run, seven RBIs and four runs scored.
- Posted multi-RBI performances in two of four starts at first base.
