LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West unveiled the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship bracket Saturday evening following the conclusion of the 2025-26 regular season.
Utah State won the Mountain West regular-season title and enters the 2026 Credit Union 1 MW Men’s Basketball Championship as the No. 1 seed. The Aggies have won three regular-season crowns, including two outright championships, since joining the Conference in 2013.
USU finished the 2025-26 regular-season campaign 25-6 overall and 15-5 in Conference play, marking the 12th 25-win season in program history. Additionally, it’s the first time the Aggies have won 25-plus in four straight seasons.
With a 14-6 record during MW action, San Diego State earned the No. 2 seed, while New Mexico will also have a first-round bye as the No. 3 seed. League newcomer Grand Canyon enters the championship as the No. 4 seed after posting a 13-7 record during the Conference slate. Nevada will be the No. 5 seed, Boise State the No. 6 seed and Colorado State is the No. 7 seed.
UNLV and Wyoming received the eight and nine seeds, respectively, while Fresno State (10), San José State (11) and Air Force (12) round out the bracket.
The 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 11-14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
