COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV’s Shelbee Brown was selected as the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and Nevada’s Skylar Durley collected the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week nod.

This is Durley’s fifth and Brown’s fourth MW weekly honor during the 2025-26 season.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SHELBEE BROWN, UNLV
Graduate, Forward, Memphis, Tennessee/Akron

  • Led the Lady Rebels to a dominant 76-47 win over Boise State to help the Scarlet and Grey secure the No. 2 seed and a bye in the first round of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Conference tournament.
  • Logged a double-double with a season-high 22 points and 16 rebounds.
  • Shot 58.3 percent from the floor (7-for-12) and 80 percent from the charity stripe (8-for-10).
  • Also contributed two assists.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SKYLAR DURLEY, NEVADA
Guard, Edmond, Oklahoma/Edmond North HS

  • Led the Wolf Pack to a 72-69 overtime win at Utah State.
  • Recorded a career-high 22 points along with six rebounds, four assists and one steal.
  • Shot 47.4 percent from the floor.
