COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State sophomore guard Kloe Froebe was selected as the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and Wyoming’s Jane Rumpf collected the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week nod.
This is Rumpf’s third and Froebe’s first MW weekly honor during the 2025-26 season.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KLOE FROEBE, COLORADO STATE
Sophomore, Guard, Lincoln, Illinois/Lincoln HS
- Led the Rams to a pair of wins over UNLV (77-61) and Air Force (66-52).
- Averaged 13.5 points, 14 rebounds and two assists per game.
- Against the Lady Rebels, logged 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal.
- Against the Falcons, tallied 15 points, a career-high 20 rebounds and is the only guard in the MW to record such a mark in a single game this season. Also contributed three assists for the Green and Gold.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
JANE RUMPF, WYOMING
Forward, Denver, Colorado/Regis Jesuit HS
- Averaged 17.5 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 blocks and two assists per game.
- Shot 55 percent from the field, 53.8 percent from three and 66.7 from the charity stripe for the Cowgirls.
- At Air Force, notched eight points, seven boards, four assists and three blocks.
- At San Diego State, registered a career-high 27 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
