- The MW has three programs in the top 90 of the NET (San Diego State – 77; Colorado State– 85; UNLV – 86) and five in the top 115 (Boise State – 109; New Mexico – 111).
- The Mountain West is one of nine leagues (ACC, A10, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Ivy, SEC and Sun Belt) and one of five non-Autonomous 4 leagues that have three or more teams ranked in the top 90 of the NET rankings.
- Mountain West teams have taken down six Autonomous 4 and Big East programs: UNLV 85 – DePaul 78, Grand Canyon 78 – SMU 60, UNLV 76 – Creighton 67, New Mexico 72 at Arizona 69, San Diego State 64 at Kansas State 53, New Mexico 63 – Houston 41.
- The MW is one of seven leagues to hold opponents to 62.6 points per game or less this season (America East – 59.6, Ivy – 60.4, Patriot – 61.2, Coastal – 61.3, Southern – 61.5, A10 – 62.2, Mountain West – 62.6).
- Boise State is ranked second in DI for 3-point percentage (39.6).
- Colorado State is ranked 13th in DI in opponent points (55.5) and 19th in DI in opponent field goal percentage (36.3).

- Four MW programs competed in postseason tournaments last season: Air Force (WNIT), San Diego State (NCAA), UNLV (WBIT), Wyoming (WBIT).
