COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada sophomore forward Elijah Price has been named the Old Trapper Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while New Mexico guard Jake Hall was tabbed the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week.

ELIJAH PRICE, NEVADA
Sophomore, Forward, Long Beach, California/Fresno State
- Guided Nevada to a 1-1 record last week with a 92-83 win over Wyoming and a 73-68 setback to San Diego State.
- Averaged a double-double with 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 66.7 percent (10-for-15) from the field.
- Recorded 17 points and 10 boards against San Diego State. Also had four steals and three assists.
- Posted 20 points behind a 7-of-8 performance from the floor and grabbed 13 rebounds against Wyoming.
MEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
JAKE HALL, NEW MEXICO
Freshman, Guard, Split, Carlsbad, California/Carlsbad HS
- Helped New Mexico to a perfect 2-0 mark last week with road wins over Colorado State (80-70) and Air Force (91-49).
- Averaged 21 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 54.2 percent (13-of-24) from the field.
- Recorded a career-high 24 points and seven rebounds at Air Force.
- Registered 18 points after shooting 6-of-10 from the floor. Added two boards and two assists.
